You may occasionally see movement out of the corner of your eyes, doors may open and close by themselves, and you may hear bits and pieces of conversations when no one is there. In extreme cases, objects may move or appear to have been thrown. Footsteps, odd sounds that can't be explained are all possible signs.

A Society Investigator will get some basic information from you by phone, such as the names of the occupants of the house or building, a description of the activity and when it began. You will be asked if you know of any reason why the house may have paranormal activity and if anyone ever passed away in the house.

The Investigator will make arrangements to meet with you in person at your home or place of business to see where the activity occurs. At that time, a determination will be made as to whether or not an investigation is warranted. The Investigator will coordinate schedules with you to determine the times that would be best to conduct an investigation with the Team.

No. G.O.N.E.R.S. does not provoke or try to stir up paranormal activity. We will show total respect for you, your property and the situation.

In advance of the investigation, One or more of our Investigators will research the history of the location so that we have information specific to a particular era or people known to have been on the premises. We will set up stationary cameras connected to Digital Video Recorders. Our Team also carries a variety of cameras and highly sensitive recording equipment. Teams of investigators will ask questions at various times, based on our research to see if they get responses from any entities that may be present at the location. The investigation may last anywhere from 3-8 hours, depending on the circumstances.

Absolutely, in fact, we recommend that the client and at least one other person who resides in the house be present. The reason: Whatever is in the house is used to you and used to interacting with you. We find we get much better responses when the client is present. We do ask that all pets be removed from the location during the hours of the investigation because our recording devices are so sensitive pet noises can be mistaken for something else.

As a Research Society, we do not charge for investigations. Every member of G.O.N.E.R.S. volunteers their services and talents to help people who are suffering from paranormal activity in their lives. Think of us as a Volunteer Fire Department.

We do encourage anyone who would like to contribute to contact us.

We never expose the identities, addresses, or any private information about the people we help, to anyone, ever. If we put anything on our website, etc., it would only be with your written permission. Our investigations are as discreet as we can make them. We have hands-off approach: in other words, we don't touch anything in your house. We don't open drawers, cabinets or intrude into your private things unless it is necessary to the investigation and then, only with you there. Our Number One Rule is, "It's your house, it's your rules." If there is an area you do not want investigated we will follow your restrictions without question.

If it isn't clear the night of the investigation that we have found strong evidence of something paranormal, analysis of audio, video and still pictures takes 2-3 weeks, depending on our schedules. We are a volunteer organization and thorough analysis takes time.

Of course, but we ask you make every effort to keep the date once it is set. Very often, our volunteer team members will change their work and family commitments to be at an investigation, sometimes weeks in advance, so keeping a firm date with us ensures we will have sufficient available investigators to focus on your premises.
